I understand he is a Setterfield type.... but who kicks goals.

Even just as coverage for Setterfield ... who breaks down fairly regularly (he played 13 games in 2022, 10 in 2023 and has broken down again ... he averages 10 games a season over 7 years).
Anyone from Claremont,Subi,East Fremantle, but not Teakle! He's on Assignment(mine really)to stay a year with them, then give it a whirl after that!

NO ONE from Perth!Hands Off AFL Clubs, including You guys!Notice how I said You here?

Can Caddy capture form before he struts the stage ?
Most of our AFL listed playing in the VFL side are just kids.
Shiel & Tsatas had a fair bit of the ball, but Shiel was on managed minutes and Tsatas only played the first half.
Hayes dominated and looked composed.
Bryan did pretty well too.
Weideman was fairly quiet and disappointing at that level.
Roberts had been great in prior weeks, more quiet last week, but still did some good stuff. Hard at it.
Caddy was in & out of it, some nice things but needs some more games and still some development to do.
Wanganeen and Jayden Davey showed small signs but will need more games.

If we can get a few more of the injured guys back it might start looking a bit better

He's pretty handy.
Not sure I'd compare him to Setterfield though, not that that matters.
I'd question if there's room for him in our midfield - if Setters, Shiel, Tsatas and Perkins are all fit and in form, there's a serious selection dilemma ahead already.
Just on his injuries....were those games he missed at Carlton due to injury? Asking because he did get omitted quite a bit too.
Played 55 games in 4 seasons at Carlton - average almost 14 per year (and 2020 only had 17 Rounds).

Silly buggers were 15 points up with 5 to play.

Learning the Same Olds' way!

Bryan got a fair bit of the pill. How far is he off playing for the seniors?

I watched a fair chunk of this game. No-one really impressed me at all. The only one who looked AFL level was Hayes.

Visentini was ok.

Finally got a win. Although they did their best to lose it by blowing a 31 point lead at half time.

Nothing to get too excited about TBH. Tsatas got a heap of it… but a heap went straight to the opposition.

Bryan was excellent.

Caddy couldn’t get into it.

Shiel was ok.

Roberts very good.

Visentini looks ok.

Credit to the team - they blew the big lead and were headed in the last quarter, but this time they hit back to win the game.
Agree with your other comments.
Visentini seems a bit of a surprise packet. He's going great.
Guelfi also played today, but didn't really seem to stand out. Similar stories for Tex Wanganeen and Jayden Davey.
Bryan needs to play AFL ASAP.

Also - anyone know why Oscar Smartt didn't play today? He missed last week because he was with the "Young Guns" program or something.

Visentini is our rookie speculator this year.

It would be nice to have a rookie work out for once. We haven't had a success for quite a while.

And before someone says Durham - he was Richmond's rookie we pinched from them in the midseason draft and put on the rookie list to keep him.

Not yet I expect.
Tsatas and Reid sure seem to be putting their hands up high! ADjnr needs a run in the 2's. He did a couple of good things yesterday but he doesn't like to tackle and when he bumps he seems to bounce off his opponent but also give them some momentum. Completely ineffectual.
Hobbs came on and is the complete opposite...he loves to tackle hard and take his opponent out of the contest.
