Great article. A phenomenal player and easily the best Bomber I've ever seen. Great words from Paul Barnard too.

All the best Sir James, hope you celebrate the day with another victory and another medal!

Hope he plays. He looked pretty sore coming off the field yesterday. Wednesday might come around pretty quickly for Jimbob...

I say this to my mates all the time....

I like many missed the Dicks the Hutchisons the Colemans but Jimmy has been admired by me since he got drafted from the mighty Ainslie when I was playing for them back in the early 90s.

Going to be a very sad day when he plays his last game... AKA Grand Final day

An out and out champion. I hope he rises to the occasion one last time. I have to admit I'm slightly concerned about the extremely short break between games.

How much game time did he have vs St KIlda

I am sure he will play off the bench against the Pies.

He should be fine

Barry Young - that boy was a go'er. Will never tire of seeing Jimmy run out on ANZAC Day. I've got the 2003 match on DVD and just marvel at what he did that day.

I liked the 2004 game, where he thought "f***, I have done every thing else, how about I baulk a couple of players?"

Loved the commentary when Didak tried to baulk Hird and Commetti goes "Hirdys been selling them all day, why would he want to buy one?"
He kicks on the left
