Injury Updates?

Post by Rem »

Just on 10 News they said Hille was unlikely to play with a hamstring injury and even Gary O'Donnell said he was unlikely, Hird was probable, Fletcher could be out with a rib problem.

Then on the AFL website Hird and Hille right to play. Only players to miss out are Leroy and Licha.

Haha, shouldn't believe the media? Or are Essendon wanting to go in as underdogs? Hahaha.

Leroy apparently has made a remarkable turn around what was thought to be a 4 week injury. If he passes a test on Wednesday, he'll play. Along with Hille who is doubtful.

Bolton and Keps are going to come in?

Rather than play Bradley, can we just submit a team sheet with 21 players?

Hird will come up and I reckon Hille will as well.

NLM and possibly Welsh will come in.

Didak will come in for them.

Hird and Fletcher set for Anzac Day
Tuesday, 24 April 2007

Essendon veterans James Hird and Dustin Fletcher are certain starters for tomorrow’s Anzac Day clash with Collingwood at the MCG. And the news gets even better with Leroy Jetta also a chance to play with his groin injury nowhere near as bad as first feared.

The Bombers’ fitness and medical teams have been working overtime to get the Essendon players back to full fitness following the weekend’s game against St Kilda.

The players have recovered well thanks to a thorough recovery plan that included time spent in the hyperbaric chamber, time on the beach and a player-specific dietary and supplement program.

Essendon will wait as long as possible to make a decision on ruckman David Hille who is suffering from a bruised chest and hamstring soreness.

Kepler Bradley and Mark Bolton didn’t play in the Bendigo Bombers team on Sunday and are on standby should they be required along with Nathan Lovett-Murray who has recovered from a groin injury.
