Maybe add Gumby?

I want to see this kid. He can come in for CJ.

JJ probably needs another in the 2's.

Jetta back to the two's aswell.

Probably top 3.

Well Sheeds has said he wants to give JJ another week or two in the magoos. Not sure we can afford that.

If fit Winda straight back in, same with Welsh, Hille, NLM.

I would give Jetta a while at Bendigo so he can touch the ball more than 5 times a game.

Would like to see Houli and Gumby get a game soon too.

Out: Watson

Totally agree JJ can be the swap with Hird off the bench. I like Jobe's ability to win the, ball but he butchers it when he kicks it.

Have got to get more speed into the team. Winder or NLM to give some run and bounce. Collingwood's midfield is slow and we decided not to take advantage but thought it best to bring in 2 tall players

Positive #1 Some of Ryder's ruckwork in the second half was sensational. Our midfielders must have wondered what was going on, winning taps to advantage, straight down their throats.

Positive #2 - Stants hit a few long targets with his kicks today. Sure he missed a few as well but I thought it was an improvement.

Positive #3 - I thought today was Mal's best game for us, used the ball calmly and well

Positive #4 - CJ's kicking for goal, much improved on some of last year's efforts

After today, I'm a bit worried about our midfield coming up against Hawthorn pacy runners. Hopefully the big break can get some freshness back into our midfielders legs.

I don't like Hawthorn. They have a stink of mediocrity. Not as bad as Rihcmond, but close.

I can't believe we've lost the last three against them when we used to absolutely own them.

Agree, except for those two. I reckon they're useless.

Id keep Laycock, whether Hille is right or not.

Assuming he's not:

In: Lovett-Murray, Winderlich, Welsh
Out: Bradley, Bolton, Dyson / Johns (depending on height requirements)

Laycock needs to stay in. He is fit enough and good enuogh to play 5 minutes a quater in the ruck. HIs lakc of fitness got exposed today. WIth Hille back in we will see the best of him.

I also think we should keep Chook in the team. Even if Hille is right he will need some help and i would rather keep Ryder in the back half.

Natrat, Welshy and Licha all should come in hopefully, while Bolts and Bradley will def go back and either Heff, Dyson or Johnsy.

Yeah i agree Jazz. Heff has flown under the radar this year. Very good tackler and getting in and under in the packs. I'ld keep him in. Welsh would have to come in as with NatRat and JJ

I'm glad there's a positive thread here today as I've been too bsuy venting my spleen on various other threads so here's a few of my positive thouights from today:

1. Alwyn Davey is one of the most exciting players I have seen
2. Fletch played his heart out today and we would have won if a few more put in a similar effort
3. McVeigh is guts personified
4. Paddy Ryder will be a star and is probably our best ruck option at present
5. Heffernan did some really good things today that (imo) cemented his spot in our best 22 for weeks to come
6. Hirdy...what can you say...he played his guts out today and provide the leadership that was missing from a lot of other senior players
