Hawks playing crappy flooding footy, was expected i guess

they are flooding our forward 50 like never seen before but can't do anything when they get into their own 50, if they continue this game plan they are skrewed

I hate these good starts....

You just know that the Hawks will come storming back, just like Carlton did. It'll happen.

Watson's terrible disposal continues.

Qtr Time
Ess 4.2.26
Haw 3.3.21

Good start by us, but couldn't maintain the scoreboard pressure.

Hawthorn will start opening it up soon and there should be a lot more scoring.

Hawks in front thru Franklin.

I just feel that once the Hawks get going, we won't be able to stay with them.

Half Time
Ess 8.3.51
Haw 9.5.59

Hawks midfield is rampant and we just can't get the ball forward often enough to kick a decent score.

At least we are still in the game, but we badly need the first goal of the 3rd term, or the Hawks could run right away.

im a bit worried about this game we have to lift, poor disposal is hurting us, you would think watson would have learnt from being almost dropped, but doesn't look like it. hope his 2nd qtr is much better, stanton has been good but not his best. lucas needs to get in the game more, make some solid leads. but whats really killing us is the flooding and numbers the hawks are getting around the ball, frustrating football

would like to see him lead a bit more but there are too many hawks down there it's almost impossible for him to get a clear straight line to run in
