Essendon Vs Richmond Game Thread
Big game tonight that we should easily win but I am not all that confident. Hopefully we can make further steps to improving our rucks and clearances and if we do I reckon we will take the biscuits. One of the keys will be Lloyd as I cant see who will match up on him.
My prediction is us to win by 20 odd, Ryder to have his best game so far and Houli to win this weeks rising star nomination.

Fair dinkum, if we dont win tonight then something is definitely wrong.
We should smash them in the clearances as they have Knoble and Simmonds out, all they have is Patterson.
Richo will play but who cares? We have Lloyd and they are minus Gasper.
We need quick movement of the ball, if we can do this, we should win easily.

That hardly inspires me with confidence considering that Cloke outplayed us when we lost to Carlton BUT I hope we have learnt our lessons (not sure what they may have been, perhaps someone may enlighten me). If we lose tonight though against Richmond, I think I might be putting one of my fists through the wall. My fist is still sore from when I slammed it against the table when we lost against Hawthorn a few weeks back. Let's hope there's not another first gamer to win BOG like Polo did last year. What is it with us and letting hacks win BOG - who can forget McGough for Collingwood who has now completely disappeared off the radar. Now enough of my scepticism and go Bombers! I'm already on a bit of a high as I enjoyed watching Carlscum lose today!Rossoneri wrote:We should smash them in the clearances as they have Knoble and Simmonds out, all they have is Patterson.

I'm here as per usual. Finished my notes on corporate directors duties. Now settling down for some Satdy night footy.
A little worried about tonight.
Tiges are getting ever closer to their first win of the year. I am sure the Tiges will go in desperate and hungry. It's a showcase indigenous game and carries a little more meaning than an ordinary "no-publicity" game.
Therefore... TWO POSSIBILITIES:
If the "real" Essendon turns up, we win by 30.
If the "don't worry cos it's only Richmond, we have Hird and Lloyd and we should be fine" Essendon turns up, Richmond will win by 30.
My tip: Ess by 1 point. Lloyd to kick at least 1.
