I aint that optimistic.

West Coast were incredible today.

I am really interested to see how we handle Judd.

Should be a good game.

They can't can't take us lightly or they might get their bottoms pinched.

McVeigh.

And I reckon we'll do OK. We didn't do too bad against them last year at the Dome. We lost it in the last 10-15 minutes.

We've (unbelievably) beaten 3 of the top 4 from last year. Eagles are next week....could we beat all of them?????

Our backline should be on top so we'll just need to make sure we don't lose the midfield by too much. Easier said than done.

If i recall correctly, Embley was the guy last year who really was the catalyst for them beating us in the last quarter of last year's match. He's not gonna be there next week, so that's a big plus in our favour.

It's at the Dome, so we have to be a chance. Eagles are usually ordinary at the Dome and we're usually at our best there.

Any chance we can enjoy this win first?

But if you must, then we need to bring in some more runners. This match took alot out of us, need some fresh legs

The thing is we can easily slip back into old habits after playing superbly the week before. Round 1 vs Adelaide was a similar game tonight except the those 4 points were goals and that propelled us to play great footy the following week. I am quietly confident.

Can't wait for this one. Essendon back on Friday night. We play great footy at the Dome.

Eagles will be raging favourites but these are the sorts of games where we go out and really have a go... unlike matches against Carlton and Richmond who we seem to have no respect for (wonder why? cos they're shit.)

If we come to play, we will beat them next week. I'm sure of it.

I hope so, next week is a game we really need to get a lot out of

winderlich, houli, watson, davey, hirdy etc basically our onballers.

so impressive the eagles in the centre of the park.

Hopefully Hille sets himself up for a big one...

we will have to try win the game of our half back line.

I hope we pack the stadium out this week and give them ******* hell.

Would love to see one of our boys line one of them up at the first bounce, show them we mean business.

We need to bring in a couple of runners this week as the match against Sydney would have taken a fair bit out of the boys.

45,000+ at the ground, wanting to beat the shit out of their drug-filled corpses, bring it on.

I have never been so confident that we'll win.

We have a home advantage, which is a real advantage because West Coast are a bad travelling side. Me and Gatty will be in full-flight or at least I will be.

Bombers by 15 points

The games we have lost this year have been where their FF and our FB have been left on their own, basically with the F50 to themselves.

With Fletch leaving 5-10m between him and his opponent, or Mal being slow out of the block we get exposed one on one. You can bet that WCE will be trying this from the get go.

For us to be a good shot, we have to sacrifice a player to fill the hole.

With the right team in, we can counter act this by playing exactly the same at our end. Lloyd one out, with our swoopers picking up the crumbs, or kicking into the hole Pagan's Paddock style and jagging goals that way.

Keep us in the betting for 3 quarters, at least. The last quarter will come down to what lessons have been learnt from the last 4 or so weeks.

yep - if we turn up and are switched on we are a show.

the key to getting close to the eagles is not to concede them space - the kangaroos gifted the eagles easy possessions - we know they are skilled - so backing off them is just not going to work.

we need constant pressure on the man and full bore attack on the football - anything less and we haven't got a hope. they are the best in the land - so we must play out of our skins to have a chance - but if we do I think we will get close
