SCG

Did Sydney water the ground to slow our team down. And force us to play more contested/less free flowing footy?
On the Sunday footy show Billy brownless said it hadnt been raining.
when asked why was the ground wet, and ball greasy.

Apparently did same thing in the 2005 prelim final vs Cats in Sydney

And they complain about the umpires..........
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

They always do it to help out their team. Their midfield is slow and likes the tough contested footy, so the slow ground suits them to a tee.

It definitely looked as though it had been watered during the day. There was too much moisture for it to be dew which is usual during this time of year.

The Cretins at SCG would appear to rival the S.A. ferals at Moron Park for the booing during the presentation of the Marrn Groot trophy (is that right?)

They got beaten at their own game and the thickness of their own goal posts!!!

Wasn't that just fantastic!!
Too far for Baker now he's on to it, now he’s got it, OPEN GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Dons are in front by one point at the 8 minute mark

They knew we would beat them easier if it was dry and the game was a free flowing, high scoring game.

What the hell,

If this is true, then for a start poor form, but the AFL should at least question it.

But given the circumstances, it won't.

All I know is that ground is a bloody postage stamp. The far grandstand looked so close I could almost reach out and touch it. No wonder Gilchrist always smashes a few sixes into the second tier.

i was thinking today, they should knock out the first 4 rows of seats right around the ground and widen/lengthen it.

Could be done, without costing too much you would think?

Since the AFL would make the SCG most of its money, I really think they should be coming down on em a little harder.

You could knock out thr first 10 rows and there would still be a lot of vacant (heads) seats.
