Fevola

"Go away and have a think about things." What a load of BS. The media are all over it. As if Carlton will sack him. AFL footy has turned into a fair dinkum soap opera this year. The newspapers are loving it, most fans are hating it...

Allegedly been suspended for a week:

Unbelievable. The guy is an absolute peanut but is Carlton's only matchwinner on his day, as was painfully demonstrated against us a few months ago.

There'd be at least half a dozen clubs who'd line up for his services should he go from Carlton at year's end. Given Pagan's his biggest fan and even he seems to be losing patience, Fev could find himself at a new club in 2008.

It's a pity the bloke has to fight his own mentality, because he is a top footballer.

Don't teams usually just drop poor performers to the 2's?

Why is Fevola so special?

A stint in the 2's will send the right message, or are they giving him a special approach because they're scared of losing him?

He doesn't seem the sort to give a toss about anyone else, including teammates.

He is a top footballer BD no two ways about it...

There was an excellent Documentary made in his years draft that featured Fev, Rama and Headland . They highlight the 3 of them as future stars and had indepth interviews with them and talked about their future.

Nine or so seasons on it is an amazing contrast as to where these 3 have ended up.

Headland was a wanker back then too carrying on like it was his god given rite to play at Freo and even went to interviews with the Lions recruiting staff in Freo tracksuits. Now he is still a wanker and average player that has won a flag and been traded back to his beloved Freo.

Fev is a potential super star that could be anything and could be nothing. No brains no brains no brains.

And Rama well where do we start he really was/is a great player and was struck down in his prime as we all know. Personality wise he could not be more different to the other two dropkick bogans and has a good head on his shoulders.

Fevola = Dog. Kick him and send him outside, it's the only way to treat him.

Oh, and for f***'s sake, Dennis, give it a bath.

Seriously, Carlton are not going to be serious contenders for at least 5 years, by that time Fevola will be on his way out.

Seriously the guy is only interested in stroking his own ego, ill-disciplined f***wit on and off the field. I mean this is the guy who last season was serious about being named captain...what f****** leadership skills has the tool ever demonstrated??!!

9 goals in the past 5 weeks and constantly giving away stupid frees, 50s and sooking to the umpire every possible opportunity. His idea of a second effort is to go off at the umpire in the hope he'll get a free kick.

Not even doing the team things anymore. On the weekend he tried to unload a torp from 70m out when Marc Murphy was unmarked in the 50.

Seriously, Carlton would be well served offloading this guy now, while there are plenty of clubs interested and he is off value.

Would command 2 first round picks. Or one first rounder and a good player.

Eagles, Bulldogs and Crows would fall over themselves to sign up a key forward of Fevola's calibre and his on-field behaviour would probably improve out of sight with the better delivery an opportunities the midfields of these teams could provide him.

I for one think it would be a good move by Carlton to move him one...he simply doesn't have the heart to try and help them become contenders again.

He's a complete tosspot, no question. But imagine if he played for WCE and had that midfield serving it up to him

It's not like WCE have a shortage of players they could sacrifice to get him, especially such a shite team as Carlscum

Nothing between the ears and in saying that, would fit in well at WCE.

interesting stuff.
fev at chf for the eagles.
i dont know if they will take on another problem player

freo seems to like them
fev, pick 3 for pav?

imagine waite and pavlich. both chf/chb specialists. interchangeable and hard to match up on

blues dont need judd with gibbs, murphy, carrazzo, and that other young guy (fisher? walker?)
Pavlich would be a nice fit
