I dunno.
But what I do know is that this win is just wallpaper over the cracks.
Seniors Hird, Campo, Lloyd dragging us over the line. We are slow, we were pathetic in the 1st half, blah, blah.
Still, I love beating Carlton. Suck shit Carlton.
We won't play finals but it's just so nice to beat Carlton.

Hated Campo's guts at Carlton which is why I like him in our colours.pear wrote:Get off the Campo bandwagon, he is a hack and will not take us anywhere.
Pear, you're entitled to your opinion, however Campo doesn't play too many bad ones, even while at Essendon. Today he was terrific.
Given that Hird is about to go, I feel that Campo will be kept for another year because if he goes along with Hird, that is a lot of experience walking out the door at once.
are you going to say anything remotely positive about anything at the moment???pear wrote:Get off the Campo bandwagon, he is a hack and will not take us anywhere.
reasons would go nicely with statements.....

I agree, i think Campo deserves another final year at the top level as he has shown in the games he has played this year that he still has what it takes and his experience will be very valuable next season. If he can get through pre season without any injuries i think Campo will have a great 2008 season.bombercol wrote:Hated Campo's guts at Carlton which is why I like him in our colours.pear wrote:Get off the Campo bandwagon, he is a hack and will not take us anywhere.

FFS, Sheeds is rightly accused of not regenerating the list, and people want to keep Campo on the list after one good game, when, on average he is only available for selection 50 % of the time, due to injury, and he's 32 yrs old. Jeeeeeees wept.
