I'm a bit over all these blasted draws.

Can anyone with a good understanding of the ladder explain where this leaves us now?

Hmm... 111% against our 92%

Now we'll slip to 11th...

We can still make the 8. Just have to win against Richmond and West Coast and hope that most of the favourites win.

Upsets aren't good for us.

Has anyone tipped 8 this year? I have gone 5, 5, 5, 5, 6, 5, 5, 6, 5 the last 2 months and I'm yet to get a 7.

Beat Richmond by over 50 and Eagles by anything and Saints, Crows and Lions lose their last two games. So annoying should've won against Carlton back in Round 3 hope it doesnt haunt us.

16 Richmond 22 3 18 1 1936 2551 14 75.8
According to that ladder we could even lose to the Eagles and still make finals.

Of course the more likely scenario is that Richmond will give us a touch up and the season will be over.

you would think so wouln't you? But we had that motivation v the Hawks v Frem and even v Coll before that. On all occasions we barely turned up.

also, the saints play richmond in the last week of the season - I seriously doubt we will beat the Weagles at Subi and the Saints will lose to the Tiges on the same weekend!

we can hope like hell that everything falls our way - but all that hope does is blind us to the fact that we are a below average football side in all respects and the sooner we get a coach and assistants who do something to get us fitter, more skillful, more aggressive, and more competitive than we have been for 3 years - we are going nowhere except bottom 4 again.

We won't finish bottom 4 this year... we'll either just squeeze in out just be squeezed out of the 8 come the end of Round 22.

With 10 wins so far, this season is decidedly better than last, with much the same list.

As long as we don't slip to bottom 4, which looks unlikely now, I'll be satisfied. We've done alright this year. Won some we probably should have lost, won some close ones that, last year, we would've lost and lost games to just genuinely better teams (exceptions being the scum and fremantle) that are to be expected. Bring on 2008. :)
