Is Hird going to retire?

I mean, I know this is his last year.

But are we expecting a press conference officially announcing his retirement - or is it just presumed?

Or maybe he is still weighing up his options?? Well one could hope...

But is there going to be a press conference? Have just heard nothing about it.

He indicated earlier in the year that he was definitely retiring, and has continued to say it to anyone who asks him... don't think there is any need for a PC in those circumstances.

You make a fair point rama_fan. Everyone else seems to have a press conference, why not Hirdy?

He is retiring though, whether we like it or not.

I guess the great man has made it public enough that he just doesn't need the PC, as Staggy pointed out.

Adelaide called a PC because two players who no one had ever heard of missed curfew by 10 minutes.

If that didnt diminish the need for press conferences then nothing will.

No need for a press conference because he has already publicly announced that he will not be playing on.

So expect one soon.
