Talk about everything Essendon. Past, Present and Future if it's about the Bombers this is the place to be.

Essendon to beat Richmond
Adelaide to beat Brisbane - Done

Round 22
Collingwood to beat Adelaide
Essendon to beat West Coast

Round 21
West Coast to beat Saints - Done
Essendon to beat Richmond
Brisbane to beat Adelaide (at AAMI)
or
Adelaide to beat Brisbane
or
Adelaide/Brisbane draw

Round 22
If Adelaide beat Brisbane in Round 21, Collingwood to beat Adelaide
If Brisbane beat Adelaide in Round 21, Geelong to beat Brisbane (at the Gabba)
If Adelaide and Brisbane have a draw in Round 21, above two games are meaningless
Essendon to beat West Coast
Ithink you might have the Adelaide V Brisbane options covered there

nice summary dom

Adelaide beating Bris and Pies beating Adelaide seems the easiest way. Need to actually play a fair bit of decent footy ourselves first though.

lets just win ours and see what happens.

if we miss out with 12 wins - I wouldn't be devastated - I don't think we really deserve to be there (I reckon only top 4 really deserve it)

Its quite simple. We need to win our final two games.

If we lose won, we have no chance.

yeah fair point - didn't really sound like what I meant.

what I want is for us to win our last two games.

also its my comment on the final 8 - lets face it - getting into 8th may be literally "making the finals" - but really whoever does is just a mediocre side making up the numbers.

Yeah, end the season and Hird and Sheedy's careers on a high note with a big win in front of a massive crowd at the MCG.

On that, surely the AFL knew Hird was going to retire this year and that it was likely Sheedy would go. Why the f*** did they schedule us to finish the season in Perth?

And the AFL are still spewing about Hirdy bringing the game into disrepute.

don't get me wrong - i don't think we are capable of winning v WCE - but is it possible that there could be 2 spots available in the 8?

Assuming we win both - Adel, Bris split their final two games, and Syd lose to Coll tonight and to Hawks next week - we could finish as high as 7th?

Dreaming, I know - but I've had a sudden injection of optimisim (aka Jim Beam Black )

Without Judd, Kerr and possibly Hansen? I think we do have a chance...if we bring our A game.
