I am very disappointed in the game last night,.
It seemed, to me, some blokes were just trying too hard and it wasn't happening for them, they got frustrated and dropped their heads.

Let's not forget what the game was about. Two of the most influential and greastest blokes this footy club has seen and will ever see. They have given us a life time of memories that i will cherish. Under Sheedy and while Jimmy has been at the club, we have been one of the most powerful clubs in the competition, not one club comes close to how powerful we have been since the early 80's to the early 2000's. 4 flags at one club is awesome. 4 flags in 27 years, 6 grandfinals, umpteen finals appearances. That's a flag every 6.75 years .

Let's stop bagging the team, if u must bag at least wait til next week, and remember what these two blokes have done for this footy club.

I think this is the excact reason why so many people are getting stuck into the "team". We REMEMBER what these two blokes have done for our footy club. Their seemed to be a bunch of players last night with no memory at all.

A mate at work just asked me if I was going to the game this week after yesterday's performamce.

"Of course I am" I said...."it's the last time I'll get to see Hirdy play and Sheeds coach the Bombers and I want to be there so like so many people in Melbourne were yesterday"

"But you'll get belted" was his reply

"So what" I said..."I have no great expectations regards us winning the game but I'm sure Hirdy will do at least one more magical thing to add to my memories of his career"

"And I'll be able to say I saw his last game and the last game that Sheeds coached us"

Precious memories indeed!

precisely Bruv.

I am disgusted in the weak and inept performances that our players put in last night on a grand stage to say thanks to 2 of our all-time GREATS of the club.

and a fair few have moved their chairs closer to the Exit door at Windy Hill after last night's crap they dished up

And tell them that you are going because you are a supporter of the club.

Because no matter how shit we are, I still go to the games as do many others. Im sure Robbie if he was living here instead of the city of Pornography he would go as well and others who cant get to the game will still watch it.

I find it amazing when people say "why you going for, you're going to lose anyway?"

What, you just jump on any bandwagon you can find?

Yea it wasn't one of our best performances, but i believe some of the guys out there were trying to hard to win and forgot to play football. They were so consumed with winning, that when something went wrong, their confidence dropped and so did their heads.

Big games like that are handled differently by everyone. Even Jim was nervous and started off shakely.
