West Coast by a tiny margin in a classic contest.

Can't split Adelaide/Hawthorn
- I think the Crows are boring as bat shit and Hawks have truckloads of pace and talent but little experience. Probably Adelaide, but don't be surprised if the Hawks bounce back in front of a home crowd.

Sydney by a tiny margin in a horrible game.

Geelong to smash the Roos by 7-8 goals.

Its the FINALS. How can you possibly tip until you have seen the teams? Especially in what look like being very close games.

For what's its worth I think its gonna be a great weekend of games.

Sydney have absolutely screwed themselves by winning today. If they win on the weekend, they will go on to face the loser of WC/Syd, followed by Geelong (presuming they win.).

I still think they are one of the best sides in it but that is a b!tch of a run home.

Friday Night:
Port vs WC (AAMI)
The game against us was their turning point.

Saturday:
Hawthorn vs Adelaide (Docklands)
Just think not having to travel will suit the Dawks better. Plus I'd rather a Victorian team go through.

Saturday Night:
Collingwood vs Sydney (MCG)
This is the exception to what I said above. I'd rather any Victorian team to go through, EXCEPT the filth. I think Sydney will tear the filth to shreds.

Sunday:
Geelong vs Kangaroos (MCG)
Your time is NOW Geelong. Take it and run. Win and you're on easy street. Lose and you'll have it tough.

Go Melbourne teams besides scum although it's nice to hold on to the mantle as the last vic team to win a flag.

I reckon the Roos will go out in straight sets. They did surprisingly well in 2005 and then got embarrassed by Port in the finals, and i reckon it'll happen again.

If West Coast beat Port, they'll go on and win the flag; lose and they're stuffed.

Port still the wildcard. People know how Sydney and West Coast are going to perform, but with Port, you just don't know.

Geelong v Port Grandfinal, Power won't drop a final at AAMI, and the Cats are just too good.

Even though the swans are primed, and could beat anyone, I think the Pies at the G will be huge for them. Hawks will rebound...or could be out, toughest game to pick for me.

and as above Cats should take care of the roos.

Port v WC

Coll v Syd

Hawk v Adel

Geel v Kang

I think the hawks will bounce back after the disgrace in sydney,

and you have to go for the pussy cats. ablett jr to celebrate the premiership with a norm smith and dedicate his performance for his old man.(89, still the best GF I have seen outside an essendon one of course).

Kangas to beat Geelong.

Especially if Geelong is without Egan, Ablett and Bartel.

Big call, rama_fan.

Cats would look silly dominating the home & away and then losing their first final! Stranger things have happened though...

I think North will give Geelong a big test, Adelaide play well at the Dome and play there just as much as Hawthorn does taking away Hawthorn's home ground advantage.

Sydney always seem to perform well in finals, it will be a boring game as both teams are really scrappy.

Port and West Coast should be a great game, it's way to hard to pick.

Bad mail sorry.

Still think the Cats won't have it as easy as they would hope.

I reckon if the Kangas are thereabouts at 3/4 time they will be a massive chance, Geelong still need to shake the tag that they are mental midgets. I reckon it could all rapidly come undone for them.

disagree - they will belt the Kangas even without Egan (and Bartel if he doesn't come up). I reckon we might see something like we saw in 2000 with our first final v the Kangas. Maybe not record scores and margins - but a shellacking nonetheless.

The Cats are the real deal - hard, skilled, determined. Mental giants if you ask me.

I pondered which final to go to this w/e...
Had to be at the G.

Filth? Nah.

Cats v roos...the contest is anyones I think. I'd tip the cats, but Egan is pivotal, and Bartel won't be perfect.
If the Cats cover those they'll be very hard to beat, but if anyone has a real chance, it's the 'roos I think. They have achieved much more than many thought this year, and it'd be no surprise to see them scare the cats.
