Then he gets OP for 2 years...........well we saw what he was like and he came back somewhat this year but nothing like THAT year.

Judd had the op 2 weeks ago....can't even run for 6 more...and is a 4 monther they say...all things going well.

Groins are a shit of a thing to shake. Time will tell if the Mercenary will end up like Smoke.
Look at Luke Ball. Has been killed with the OP, can barely move half the time.

I have a mate who suffered from it and he reckons he can barely kick 35-40 meters consistently without being in pain.
Depending what level Judd is at, his best may be past him.

Poetic justice:

Kreuzer turns out to be the next Josh Fraser.
Cotchin or Morton becomes the next Judd.
Judd does a knee and becomes the next Koutafidis.
Carlton get busted for salary cap rorts when Twigley's boobs turn out to be the CEO at Visy.

$6m over 5 years is enough to scare me. If I were a Carlton fan I'd be thinking Kouta all over again. Huge paying 5 year contracts are very, very scary. I hope Carlton don't think any of their kids will develop any time soon, or they'll be back to square one with no draft picks for 10 years and an even bigger fine to pay than last time.

You and I must know different men :D

(I'm too childish not to comment on that and I'm surprised no one else has yet ;) )

I reckon its a very BIG investment to be reliant on Judd's groin for the future of your club. My guess is that he will never be the player he was because after a such an injury and then virtually being made to play with such an injury it just cant be good for his body.

I found the whole "interviewing" of clubs by Judd a wholely unedifying experience.

Should be interesting to see how he pulls up after playing at TD.

All this talk of the 1.2 million in the salary cap is un-true. At the very most I'd say only 800K of his contract will come under the salary cap.

f*** JUDD...He plays for the f****** SCUM now...any decent Essendon supporter should hate the blokes f****** guts now.

Would've thought people had learnt their lesson after Essendon, Hawthorn and Carlton experiences with Mercuri, Holland and Kouta respectively.

Lost a lot of respect for the bloke too....I'm fine with him chasing the money, but I'm repulsed by all the bullshit excuses he keeps giving for why he selected the Blues, when it is clear they offered the biggest check.

Wanted to play in a team who was likely to have immediate success- should not have pick the Blues then.

Wanted a team with world class facilities...shouldn't have picked Carlton then

Wanted to build a team up without any help and on his own merits...should have gone to a team that has spent the past four years tanking to get the best players available in the draft.

You're full of shit Juddy...you were after one thing....money...which is fine, just have the balls to admit it!!

If Carlton manage to develop some good young players they won't be able to keep them as they are using so much money for Judd. It would be great to see the scum stay down the bottom of the ladder.

15 clubs dodged a bullet and Carlton has copped it right between the eyes.

Sit back and enjoy their hell ride folks.
