Scott Camporeale appointed Assistant Coach

Talk about everything Essendon. Past, Present and Future if it's about the Bombers this is the place to be.

Scott Camporeale appointed Assistant Coach

Post by Rotorog »

From the Bomber Web site.
Glory be!!! Maybe now we can get some skill into our mid-field. I said in a previous post Essendon should appoint Campo as a skills coach. Great to see. Good to know that he has more allegiance to the Bombers than the Scum.

Nice appointment. He's a good guy who fell on some bad luck. Nice to see his immense knowledge and skill can now be put to some workk

And it also completes a relatively young coaching staff whi will be eager for success.

With Knights and Campo on board, our midfield should improve heaps in the next few years.

We should have appointed Buckley in some role. That way we would have had pricks from Richmond, Carlton and Collingwood.

I like the set up of the coaching panel. All young and have been in the current climate of football, its not like it was back in the 90's, the game has evolved immensely.

And the fact that 3 of the 5 coaches were very highly skilled (Knights, G O'D and Campo) means that hopefully, HOPEFULLY we can hit targets more consistently.

I think it's a great choice too.

As Knights said he has a healthy respect from the players.

Congrats Campo. Great to see you remain in the Bomber family.

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

Yes, the appointment did please the gringe.

Campo has had success at the highest level as well, which is important. He was one of the best midfielders in the game when he was up and running. Hopefully he can get my mate Stanton playing some more direct and penetrating football.
