At least we avoided the Big Macs (McLaren, McBurney and MacInerney).

Hate Ray though. No umpire should backchat players.

Maybe it's just me, but we don't seem to get Matthew James very often, and he's consistently rated the best umpire by the players themselves. I don't mind Hayden Kennedy, but Ray Chamberlain is a disgrace.

Are there any good umpires?
McInerny (#30) is a shocker, so is Grun (#13), Jefferies (#29).

And for McAburney and McLaren, well, says it all really?

why keep blaming the refs? Honestly, even if we had 50 free kicks to there 7 we still would have been belted...why harp on about something of such little consequence when we should be asking the big questions about the players ability / ripping into underperforming pretenders like McPhee who should have been traded years ago while he still had value and who is nothing not worth a pinch of sh1t.

Please can we stop blaming the refs for something whcih is clearly the fault of the EFC!!! Come on!

Filth ol' son, I enjoy reading your posts. They are informative, well written and researched. But maybe, just maybe, do you think that the umps may read these ump bashing posts of yours and get a bit anti- Essendon as a result. Go on, blow them a kiss tell them how great a job they are doing, buy them some roses, and maybe, just maybe we will get a better deal from them.
