I concur. Completely outplayed that "All-Australian" Mooney to the point where i'm sure Mooney would've been embarrassed.

Probably our best player today.

Not probably. Easily.

Only player on the park today that never once lowered his colours. Easily accounted for Mooney today.

Outstanding he was today our only shining light. Always liked him, good name  but he looks to be the future equivalent of dustin fletcher hopefully.

Ahh now I see why Mooney actually kicked a few goals. That was when Ryder went onto Hawkins.

Comfortably our best and the one shining light on a pretty ordinary day.

Very happy with Paddy today. He went up against a much physically stronger opponent and didn't lose a one on one contest all day. Great stuff.

Reads the play so well. Glad he got a good forward today, and he did well. Hope he takes Fisher next week.

Played with remarkable poise, despite all the chaos around him.

Carlton dont have as many avenues to goal as Geel so im hoping Paddy can really have some free run of the half back line. He was quite magnificent yesterday and was one of only a couple who could hold their head up high (the others being Rama and Dyson on occasion).

He was amazing and will be a star.

I reckon he is our best chance to be a Brownlow Medallist in the next 10 years, despite the fact it's a midfielders award!

Watching the boy live at the ground is even better. You get to see how well ahead of the play he actually is. He reads the game just like James Hird and he defends just like Dustin Fletcher. He knows when to attack the footy and knows when to mark or spoil. He gildes across the ground and seems to have all the time in the world. He really is great to watch.

The scary thing is that he is improving with each and every game!

A few times last night he looked way out of position but somehow still managed to take a mark or make a spoil. I am looking forward to him playing on Franklin.

I Was reading the blogs on the Essendon site. They were talking about the next Essendon star. I liked this guys comment.

"'I'm think Paddy Ryder is a good full or half back than Dustin Fletcher or Mal Michael I'm think He's a super star in the footy ground and Essendon players also I'm hope Paddy is a footy star with essendon than essendon players."

Man, I thought I was on the Essendon site, not Collingwoods #-o

This is A grade illiteracy!
