Lloyd injured

Post by sconsey »

Lloyd is out, calf injury. Will miss against the Bulldogs! f***! need to find bout 6-8 goals from somewhere, without Lloyd and Lucas. Probably even 10 goals, cos they usually have a day out against the Doggies!

First time since 1999 that both Lloyd and Lucas have been missing.

Turns the game against the Dogs into a bit of a battle for our boys. Mind you, beat them without our two key forwards and we really then can start thinking Top 8

This is a challenge that we could've done with at about the midway point of the season. But ohwell, we can't do anything about it. The guys will continue to believe in each other and the game plan that Knights is trying to implement. This game - if we win - may just fast track our season a bit.

If Quinn doesn't get the sack after this season, It'll be the 8th wonder of the world. He is there to keep the players on the park, and at this stage we currently don't have about 10 players to choose. That is pretty unacceptable! Looking through all the AFL injuries we are the only club, that has more than one Hamstring injury. Quinn keeps on stating that it's because our younger players are "growing." What bout the other 15 clubs? I'm sure they have new recruits that are growing, but they manage to keep their hammys intact. Stuart Dew, Henry Playfair, Mathew Bate, Nick Gill, Tom Collier and Malcolm Lynch are the only players in the rest of the league currently sidelined by Hamstring injuries. 6 players in total, we have 5 in total.

Great post mate.

Just as you were replying to my post, I was putting it in your topic. Haha. Great minds think alike =D>

That'll be awesome if Knighta takes any notice. Because it seems as clear as day that a decision needs to be made. That decision being - SACK the Bugger! Until now, I have not slagged out Quinn, not once. But the time has come. I'm sick of seeing our players sidelined by potentially "avoidable" injuries. Mind you, I'd rather a hammy torn, than a knee. Though I'd probs trade 5 hammy's for a knee :P
