not confident.
this is a bit of a bi-product of the 'gameplan'
you gotta be accountable.

The only "bi-product" are the ******* "bi-sexuals" wearing the ******* red and black. You never blame the players for anything Tom.tom9779 wrote:not confident.

take your pick, none are playing with any confidence...when a whole team blows, you have to look at your captain and coach. they set the example/mood.
IMO
I think the coach should be putting numbers behind the football.
its a complete confidence problem.

Re: Nightmare
We do put numbers behind the ball tom but Richmond STILL manage to find a target. FFS how do we let a little runt like Edwards take such easy marks in the forward line.tom9779 wrote: I think the coach should be putting numbers behind the football.
Re: Nightmare
Same players, different coach last year and we were 7-2. Not 2-7.robbie67 wrote:The only "bi-product" are the ******* "bi-sexuals" wearing the ******* red and black. You never blame the players for anything Tom.tom9779 wrote:not confident.

We just got flogged by last year's wooden spooners.

Has James Hird come out of retirement? Is Lucas still playing? f*** he has done nothing the last 7 weeks.andrewb wrote:Same players, different coach last year and we were 7-2. Its not the same team, its a team of youngsters wo are not physically or mentally up to it. Perhas if Sheeds had have chosen midfielders rather than us having 6 key forwards we may not be as bad as we currently are.
And im pretty sure we were 4-5 last year at this point.

Re: Nightmare
Last year up to this point ;
Round 1 - Adelaide 74 Essendon 105
Round 2 - Essendon 122 Dockers 112
Round 3 - Carlton 125 Essendon 122
Round 4 - St Kilda 68 Essendon 99
Round 5 - Essendon 79 Collingwood 95
Round 6 - Essendon 95 Hawthorn 131
Round 7 - Kangaroos 117 Essendon 95
Round 8 - Essendon 127 Brisbane 63
Round 9 - Richmond 84 Essendon 92
We were 5 and 4. Having a look at those scores, its not as if we werent attacking last year. We needed to improve our defence this year. I am not with the game plan at all. On a number of occasions in the first half, players were just doing handball after handball like that was what they were being told to do. They were like robots with it.

What I like about the results from last year up to R9 is that they were all reasonably "respectable" losses. No sign of the white flag!

I got to the game early (very unusual for me) and saw them doing their warmup. The first drill was all handballs.MH_Bomber wrote: On a number of occasions in the first half, players were just doing handball after handball like that was what they were being told to do. They were like robots with it.
I thought to myself, oh no, here we go. And, sadly, I was right.

The sad thing is, O'Donnell identified that as the issue we would address this season during the pre-season... umm... ok?MH_Bomber wrote:

Did you also notice in the warm ups how we were still missing the targets?billyduckworth wrote:I got to the game early (very unusual for me) and saw them doing their warmup.
