5. David Hille (outstanding game)
4. Matthew Lloyd (strong in every contest all around the ground - top game)
3. Adam McPhee (great pair of hands and presented well, but still manages to do some clumsy and idiotic things)
2. Sam Lonergan (just gotta love his attitude and willingness to go and get it)
1. Kyle Reimers (another one who just gives his all)

Special mentions: Monfries (best game I've seen him play in a long while), Neagle (uses his body well, but needs to get it in better condition), NLM, and I thought Laycock was good.

3. May as well make it a Perfect 10 game for The Big Man Who Runneth!!! Played the best game of his life tonight against an All Australian ruckman - what a way to beat an opponent!!! You could tell that he was absolutely knackered at the end of the game but with a win and a big smile on his face, he certainly wasn't going to make it obvious!!!
2. Jetta

They were my two stand outs for the night

1. I can't split so I'll share it amongst the rest of them for giving me the best start to my weekend for the year!!!

Starting to very much like the looks of:
Myers, Lonergan, Riemers and Neagle.

I wish the peanut gallery on Level 3, Aisle 10 would give Watson a rest or go and support Richmond!!! Yes, Watson does struggle to deliver by foot some, possibly most, of the time. But he's the one that's in and under the pack, getting the ball out of there to an outside runner.

Lloyd I've already commented on in another thread - need to see him build on his performance tonight.

Can someone please tell A. McPhee that the surface of Teltra Dome is prone to being slippery and instruct him that he needs to wear long stops!!!

Watson proved tonight how much we have missed him... No votes but f*** he is good at the contest

Have to question your votes for Jetta though there were a lot better than him

Agree there were plenty of good players tonight but for some reason, I kept seeing Jetta pop up - the things he did stood out to me.

There are plenty of different vantage points - I suppose it just depends on what you see on the night/day.

Some of Watson's work tonight, particularly by hand was brilliant - some of them didn't come off but that comes down to lack of match fitness. I'm sure if we're able to keep him on the ground for weeks on end, he'll use better judgement and nail the right passes.

Love it. Jetta more valuable than Lloyd tonight (and 20 others). Different perspectives fascinate me. I mean that quite seriously. For me to sit there and for Malky to sit there and have such wildly differing views on a players' performance shows the subjectivity of the human mind.

5. Hille (Cox is his bitch  )
4. Lloyd (great captain's game)
3. McPhee (ran hard all night and kept presenting)
2. Welsh (14 tackles and shut down Priddis completely)
1. Reimers (the boy is good)

Apologies to all other 17 players.

PS: Best game I've seen Laycock play for as long as I can remember

Jetta will be fine, he is still very young and may take a bit of time.

Watson I thought was very good, first game back after a couple of weeks out.
