P.S My internet is super slow, so I have endured 2min page loads to get this across, I'll be back on tuesday to read the replies when the net goes fast again.
They did just lose to Melbourne, so anything's possiblebillyduckworth wrote:It's good to be positive JP and certainly nice to get three wins in a row.![]()
But don't get too carried away - none of the three teams we beat are in the 8.
Let's see how we go against Brisbane next round.
If we can match it with them (even if we lose) then maybe we really have turned the corner.
What he said. If we had've lost today it would've been extremely disheartening - they had two key defenders out before the game (McPharlin and Jonhson), played with 20 men in the second and third quarters (Dunn and Hayden both injured), and only 19 men in the fourth quarter (Crowley got Reimered). But still, Freo have been pretty solid at Subiaco this year and it was our first win there in 5 years, so it's a great result - hugely important for the young guys to get an interstate win and go into the week off on a high note.billyduckworth wrote:It's good to be positive JP and certainly nice to get three wins in a row.![]()
