Because the dumb cnt isnt smart to let the game play out, and comment on it from there. He has to have a "theme". Once he has that theme, he is like a dog with a bone. He will not let go. Today's theme for whatever reason was "Essendon keeping their finals hopes alive". The bloke is a ******* tard.

As much as I don't like Russell, I didn't get to see the game because instead of playing any football from today, Channel 7 thought it would be good to show a 10 year old replay instead. Wankers.

The finals thing isn't that far out of the question. We're 2 games out of the 8... although we're a mountain of % behind. So I guess that's 3 games out. If we win the majority of our games for the remainder of the year (a massive IF given our first half of the season) we'd obviously need a few results to go our way (such as Melbourne beating Brisbane... hey that actually happened!) for us to make it. Highly unlikely, but it's still possible.

John Casey is my favourite footy caller. Would love to have had 'Case' call such an exciting game today.

OK we all agree 100% that Dwayne Russell is a wanker and known anti- Essendon identity. What really pissed me off was when Welsh was on the ground with his head over the ball and Sandilands slid in with his knees. "Nothing to answer for" - f*** off Dwayne Russell, whatever happened to protecting the head. Gee didn't catch him high at all - just a huge gash on his head - I think this had the potential to cause a bad injury. Yet they were more than happy to give Fremantle cheap free kicks for ducking their heads when they saw clearly saw an Essendon player coming and getting caught high.
