the next 4 weeks

our next four games are:
richmond saturday arvo at the G
colliwobbles saturday arvo at the G
melbourne saturday arvo at the G
west coast sunday arvo at subi
thats three games we should win and you never know against the magpies because we have a habit of beating them and stuffing up their finals placing
if we win 3 then we have a record of 9-10 and 10-9 if we win all 4
do we dare dream of seeing essendon play finals in 2008?

Dont get your hopes up damo we wont be playing finals in 2008...
2009 could be interesting though

The talk of "finals for Essendon in 2008" is a journalist's way of making sure there's enough print in the paper for the day.
It's not going to happen - nor should we expect it to.
What I do like, though, is the fact that we're giving two dirty birds to the Priority Draft pick system. Not only does it make West Coast, Fremantle and Port Adelaide look bad (Melbourne ARE bad), but it also shows faith in the kids on our list which surely gives them even more confidence.

??? three games we should win? the tigers beat us by more than 6 goals what 6 weeks ago?
okay we are playing much better, but the tiges are flying. The pies are a genuine football team this year...
1 game at a time. we have got a very tough two weeks of footy, then we play melbourne who have been competitive.

+ McVeigh will miss at least those next 4, probably 5 and then some.
