An absolute screamer. I was right above it in the Southern Stand.
Very lucky he didn't hurt himself on the way down.

Nice jump, no hands on shoulders to guide him up, one grab which he held to the deck.

Bewdiful. :D

Sensational mark. Absolutely awesome. It sums up his form in the last 2 months - just brilliant.

Mark of the year for sure. Who would be better?

quick question? on "before the game". They made a big deal about it being mark of the year for sure, and Lloyd said something about the car only being given to the winner for 12 months or something. Now if this all sounds silly, that's because i was in the kitchen cooking at the time, but if i did hear correctly, could someone please explain?

Yep, they get the Toyota Kluger for one year. Pretty tight from Toyota although Lloydy will be keeping his for a second year

Youtube highlights of the game

but like someone said on another thread - how's Dunstall's commentary that fat f***! As soon as Lloyd takes the grab - he says "mark of the year" - and then he goes on about how Warnock gave Lloyd a free run at the ball, needs to make contact, blah, blah, blah. Nice work f*** head.

Vintage Lloyd. Crowd went mad after the mark. Looks like the best mark so far.

...And he didn't drop it on the way down like a lot of other MOTY contenders. He clunked it.

Great mark. But didn't wow me for some reason, yeh it was good but I have seen him take a mark at a game i went to (it wasn't paid though) it was an absolutely ripper he was sideways and basically did a army roll mid air. Was great. Looks like MOTY and GOTY going to Lloydy and McPhee.

Against Carlton last year. The same day he won goal of the year.

I think this is the mark you're referring to:

Pity someone (maybe it was Slattery? Can't remember) caused a free kick so it wasn't paid.

Yup. Seeing it again I retract my statement yesterday's was much better but that one was more spectacular and seeing it live looked better than on tv.

are there any photos of it floating around?

I remember the iconic Moorcroft image, and the Tarrant mark a few weeks earlier had several shots taken of it.

Im just waiting for the sun tommorow..
