Has Paddy Ryder...

Talk about everything Essendon. Past, Present and Future if it's about the Bombers this is the place to be.

Has Paddy Ryder...

Post by Ossie »

... ever played a worse game than today?

I think he's hugely talented but he had an absolute stinker today.
You couldn't fool your own mother on the foolingest day of your life with an electrified fooling machine.

From the way the boys on triple m were going it made it seem like he was playing well. Losing Fletch was huge for us today.

Ryder needs some very clear coaching direction. Has talent, but played a really dump, wannabe game today. Pull your head in son

Didn't apply himself at all. He was ok early on when he was played forward, but he was poor when moved into defence. Kept flying for big marks rather than doing the disciplined things and didn't look to be interested. Or he may just be knackered, like the rest of the team, and hanging out for the end of the season.

Copped a whack in the guts by that arsehole Bock in the 2nd Q. Wasn't holding his marks that he normally takes after that.

Was trying to take the mark of the year constantly.....we need him to be more consistent....but lets not forget how young he still is.

I'm sorry are we now slagging Paddy? Needs direction? Didn't Apply himself?

We got smashed in clearances today and we are blaming PADDY?

We're not "blaming him" you nonce. We're saying he didn't have a good game. As much as it may surprise you, players wearing red and black do play ordinary games from time to time.

Right in front of the umpire as well!

I think we can all forgive Paddy for having a bad day, he has been fantastic this year and wasn't the only one who didn't do so well yesterday.
