BT Finals Tipping 2008 - GRAND FINAL
BT Finals Tipping 2008 - GRAND FINAL
BT Finals Tipping is back for another year.
For those who don't remember, or were not around last year, here's how it works.
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
1. Every week, you are only required to tip in ONLY ONE of the finals games. It is your choice which game you want to tip in.
2. All tips must be entered in this thread by the bounce of the ball of the first final for the weekend (so usually by 7.40 on Friday night).
3. If your tip gets up, then you are still in the comp and get to tip again next week. If your tip loses - you are eliminated.
4. Last man standing wins, with margins (closest to the pin) required in the Grand Final should it come to that.
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Hopefully we can get a lot of people participating as it was a bit of fun last year (though for the life of me I can't actually remember who won!) - so I encourage everyone to be involved and start posting your tips in this thread.
For all those living on Mars, the games this weekend are:
Hawthorn v Western Bulldogs (MCG)
Adelaide v Collingwood (AAMI)
Sydney v North Melbourne (ANZ)
Geelong v St. Kilda (MCG)
I'll start the ball rolling and tip Hawthorn. Over to you, punters....

I'm gonna go out on a limb and pick Collingwood. If they win I'm happy, if they lose I'm happy (and then I don't have to remember to do this anymore.)
Aaron Francis is the Messiah.

Adelaide to end Filth season. I feel more at risk because Collingwood find a way to win all the time.

Anyone have the balls to say St Kilda?
I'll go with Sydney since you're all going for the pussies/dawks.

Geelong
Why dont you make it so that no one can pick the same team twice in a row. So come prelim final, if people pick Geelong, they cant pick them on GF day (assuming they go all the way there)?

Re: BT Finals Tipping 2008
I think we should probably just stick to the rules we've got. I still think they'll be a few upsets.
At this stage if Geelong gets beat then we lose about 80% of the participants!
Keep those tips coming in gang....
