Votes vs PA
I thought there were a lot of players who busted their gut today.
3- Watson- was the reason why we came back into the match in the 3rd quarter
2- Hocking- i was surprised that he got the game today but he was sensational through the middle. His toughness was great!
1- Davey- what a return! His speed and pressure really kept us in the game for a while.
Mentions to Fletch, Hurley (what a great debut), Skippy and Lovett.

Re: Votes vs PA
just got back from the game, and yes a few times was pretty disapointed with effort, to their defence though, I was sitting in the shade and it was still bloody warm, so can imagine what it would have been like running round in the full sun.
my votes would have been
3. Jobe
2. Hurley (did great for a first gamer)
1. Stants (seemed to run hard all day)
honeralbe mentions davey, great to have back into the side, an Fletch, is just so cleaver anytime near the ball)
ps. port supporters are jerks

3. Hocking - going to be very good.
2. Watson - kicking still an issue at times though
1. McPhee - Skeletor didn't seem to have as many brain fades today. Was the only realy target up forwards.

4. Skipworth (30 plus possies and hit a target each time! Cant remember a clanger or a shirk)
3. Hille (rucked his guts out - clearly distressed in the last quarter)
2. Hurley
1. Stanton
Houlii did well - but too many basic errors - which hurt!
Cheers - STI

Re: Votes vs PA
3. Jobe Watson (even bounced back after being flattened - very impressive)
2. Heath Hocking (seems to have really come on)
1. Hurley/Skippy (half a point each for the two "newcomers" - they both show promise)
Others worth a mention:
Stanton, Pears (though he did turn it over a bit!), Hille (tried but obviously ran out of puff), McPhee (no brain fades for a change), Davey (glimpses of his former self, chasing down players, will be better for the run).
