Suspected cracked bone at the base of the ankle. 2-4 weeks but we will know more with scans throughout the weekend.

Terrible loss. He was ripping it up in the first quarter.

Another bone fracture.

*sigh*

Farrk Off.

Was absolutely sensational for his time on the ground.

Damn.... a suspected cracked bone sounds so much worse than an ankle injury. He was by far our best up to 1/4 time.

Luckily for us that players like Lonergan, Prismall, Hocking and Stanton stepped it up and were able to continue Jobe's good work in the middle.

Its a MASSIVE loss but i think we have the players to cover him for the possible 4 weeks he will be out of action. McVeigh will be his likely replacement.

Yea, if it's a cracked bone it will be 2-4.

If we are to be a good team, we can't rely on him around the stoppages all of the time. I'm sure others will lift to help out in this area while he is out.

Bad luck for Jobe, he was sensational in the first quarter. He is a big loss but we finally have to midfield depth although it would have been nice to have him play against both Collingwood and especially Sydney who will really try to shut us down.

Let's hope for a speedy recovery. He is the one player we didn't want to lose. Having said that we covered for him especially well last night.

All clear as far bone damage goes. Said he might be able to play next week. Will see how the week pans out with the swelling...

Phew!

It just shows our depth when a player of the calibre of Spike can replace him.

Could have been a break and a lot worse.

We get Spike back but that still doesn't make it any better. Jobey is a great player.
We need every bloke we can get to play against Collingwood.
It sounded really funny Tim Watson reporting about his own son.

It was even funnier watching Watto interviewing Gadget given that Gadget played with Watto so many years ago and looks exactly the same whereas Watto has enjoyed several good pastures over the journey.

Watson out.
McVeigh naughty and out.

Who replaces McVeigh?

Mcphee apparently trained strongly today.

Myers was the best player for Bendigo on the weekend. Running freely (must have been carrying some type of injury before the break) and racking up around 30 possies.

yesterday jobe was jogging laps of the oval and getting involved in handballing drills.
everything looked good but you culd see that he had a slight limp when he was walking around and he wasnt involved in any kicking.

mcphee also trained well and is a gud chance 2 be selected this week.
he and hooker had a one on one marking contest at the end of training and they both did very well, no clear winner.

No certainty this week. But I really don't want him to play. I would rather him in the middle against the Doggies 100% fit because we will beat the Swans anyway. I've regained my optimism. Don't risk him this week, I think we can manage without him for one more week.
