I thought Jarrod Atkinson was not too bad last night . He certainly presented himself at a number of contests.

He took the game on which was fantastic and deserves another chance next week.

I thought he was one of our best and did some very good things. I.e. Smother on Brown's kick. This bloke has good football smarts and this allows him to think through tricky situations.

We should definitely keep this bloke and persevere with him.

I had him as one of the delistees (if that's a word) for the end of the year, but I think we should hold onto him. He did well last night in defence, managed to spoil bradshaw and brown a couple of times and thought he played extremely well :)

May have been a career saving game from Jarrod last night. Hopefully he keeps his spot in the team even though players like Lovett, Welsh and maybe Lloyd will be wanting to come back in.

I was rapt that he got a game and his 20 possies and 80% accuracy vidicated his selection

With so much warranted criticism of our delivery into the forward, here is a kid that can really hit a target. Backed himself and had a good game. More please!!

The smother was fantastic, the second effort was 'delicious'. Leaving Brown on his stomach, in his wake... was a priceless moment for the lad. I look forward to seeing how he matures.

Why hasn't Atkinson played more senior games this year, based on the form of some of our older more experienced players coming back to early from injury?
Next week
out McViegh in Andy Lovett, unless you play McViegh in back pocket on Milne.
out Hocking in Bellchambers. Paddy is just too tired to ruck all night.

but it wont happen the old guard will return Welsh & Lloyd and maybe Lucas.
Mind you no disrespect for all three, just on form.

Plays with the Knights motto - run and back yourself style. Does it very well, and puts in the 1%ers also. That smother and run was fantastic.

I think Atkinson was a little injured in the first half of the year and took a while to get going for Bendigo as well.

Runs and Carries the ball, disposal ok for now. He isn't in our best 22 but a handy depth player to have.

Based on the brisbane game...deserves another go.

Great run out of defence...
