Luke Ball

Post by DC »

What happened to this guy. Used to be quite the player. Never known for his kicking, but still was a very good player. Now he cant even make the team?

Will he still be at the saints net year?

Will he want to be traded?

Would we want him?

Wouldn't be too bad as another inside midfielder.

Because of injuries i dont think Luke Ball is the player he once was... i would pass on his because of that. I think that if Ball misses out on a premiership (assuming that the Saints win) i think he might ask for a trade. Matt Maguire would be in the same position as well.

I agree, a couple of years ago yes but he is a shadow of his better self. We have so many young players who he would hold out to take that spot. Just stick with what we have and go with it is my philosophy.

What's happened to Luke Ball??

About 3-4 years of consistent OP problems which has rob him of speed (not that he ever had a great deal), agility, kicking pentration (can barely kick it 40m now) and his dispoal efficiency.

Didn't he get knocked out with a nasty head clash last year?

Has struggled for confidence since then - used to go like a bull at a gate for the pill, especially with the in-and-under's but dropped off completely.

I'd still have him, but we would pay less for him now than we would have 2 years ago. Still a very good player.
