Re: Franklin
No Franklin and Roughead would be an almost certain victory for us (dont think the Hawks have many other key forward types except for the duds Thorp and Boyle) but knowing our luck the Hawks will appeal with everything they have and the tribunal will get him off scott free... ![Evil or Very Mad ](./images/smilies/icon_evil.gif)

Re: Franklin
See your reaction is exactly the problem our team has.
It will see Franklin and Roughead out and think wow, this will be an easy win for us, all we've got to do is turn up and we will win.
I'd be far more confident of winning this game if Roughead and Franklin were in the form they were last, they were both playing and the Hawks were entrenched in the top 4.

Re: Franklin
Good for us if he challenges and loses, but like Ealsey, I would rather he was in than not...

We all know by now how well a team performs with underdone and injured players.

My material isn't very good..Oh...and then there's the bladder problem.
Re: Franklin
I doubt Roughead will play. We all know Hawthorn are stupid but they wouldn't risk him making his injury worse and missing the start of pre-season or part of next season.
Re: Franklin
very coincidental this is announced as soon as Franklin gets rubbed out......... wont play!Doctor Fish wrote:Rumour has it, Roughead might play...

Re: Franklin
I don't think Roughead will play, but Mark Williams is likely. Hasn't played since round 13 apparently. Bring it on.
My uncle wants Franklin to play, so if we're up by a goal late, he'll waste time kicking points.

Re: Franklin
They failed at the appeal. 2 weeks.
Good decision for us, but terrible for football in general. They are turning footy into a non-contact sport. How much more before people start turning away?
