Talk about everything Essendon. Past, Present and Future if it's about the Bombers this is the place to be.

Sheehan's top 50 Players

Post by s'dreams »

Only two EFC players made his list...

Fletch (46th) and
Watson (36th).

Would have thought Watson is a little on the low side.

Also would have thought that Ryder and Pears may have been in contention (seeing that Maxwell, Gibbs and Heath Shaw made the top 50!).

Cheers - STI

Ryder may be a little stiff. To be honest I think we rate his performance higher based on his Anzac day heroics.

As for Pears. Nah not quite there I think.

Matthew Scarlett is no where near the 3rd best player in the AFL. Could think of so many id choose to have before him.

lets be thankful that at least he is recognising players other than mid sized, ball getting mid-fileders

He is a senasational player though - I would think he would be in the Top 10

Ryder and Pears in contention? Are you kidding me? Pears?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!? He shows a heap of promise and played well this year, but he'd struggle to make the top 150 let alone top 50.
Like sand through the hour glass, so are the days at the Essendon Football Club.

whats the obsession with maxell. This guy is just average.

Also how the hell is that skill-less unco clown clint jones in the top 50 in the game...LOL.
