Just reading some posts about the Clokes it ocurred to me that they could well be the worst group of brothers to have played the great game.

Lets have a look at some of the better/poorer groups of Brothers to have played over the last few decades

Good

Gary and Nathan Ablett
Wally, Peter and Phil Matera
Terry, Neal, Tony and Chris Daniher

Bad

Cameron, Clayton and Travis Cloke
Brent and Shane Harvey (Shane being so bad that he brings the overall score down to the bad group)

The Krakoer brothers were very good and i think the Davey brothers will be just as good as well.

Interesting thread.

Yes, I agree, the Cloke's are rubbish. Travis is the best of the lot, and he is just a very ordinary footballer. Why or how some commentators crap on about him is an absolute mystery.

It's hard to classify a set of brothers when one is great and the other is a flop. For instance;

Tim Watson and Larry Watson
Brent Harvey and Shane Harvey
Stephen Kernahan and David Kernahan
Wayne Schimmelbusch and Daryl Schimmelbusch
Matthew Lloyd and Brad Lloyd

Good brothers;

Glen Jakovich and Allen Jakovich
Simon Madden and Justin Madden
Leigh Matthews and Kelvin Matthews
Geoff Ablett and Gary Ablett
Ian Nankervis and Bruce Nankervis
Tony Morwood, Shane Morwood and Tony Morwood
Terry Daniher, Neale Daniher, Anthony Daniher and Chris Daniher
Jimmy Krakouer and Phil Krakouer
Aaorn Davey and Alwyn Davey
Tony Shaw and Ray Shaw

There's a few more, but that will do for now. Agree the Selwood's are a good set of brothers

Wasn't Adrian McAdam the brother of Gilbert? Adrian was an absolute phenomenon. He had amazing skills and arived with a massive bang in his first season. But from there he just fizzled out and was gone a couple of seasons later.

He went on to represent the Northern Territory in cricket and played in a 3 day tour match against Bangladesh. He opened the bowling and took 3 top order wickets.

How about the Carr brothers? I'd love to smash those bastards.
