The Matthew Lloyd end.

Talk about everything Essendon. Past, Present and Future if it's about the Bombers this is the place to be.

I like the idea.

Who gets the other end?

It is a good idea, though they should wait till Fletch retires and then they can have the Lloyd and Fletcher stands which would be fitting as they have been arguably the best bookend combination for the all of Lloyd's career...

If its for forwards only then surely it has to be the John Coleman End?
Carlton Football Club - Surely a contradiction in terms?

I think the point of the argument is that Lloyd played at Docklands very successfully

Too far for Baker now he's on to it, now he’s got it, OPEN GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Dons are in front by one point at the 8 minute mark

Ideas for the other end:

The Judd Lalich End (my favourite)
The Daniel McAlister End
The Tony Delaney End
The Ty Zantuck End
The Coke End (you should know who that is for..)
The Todd Ridley End
The Willie Dick End
The Richard Cole End
The Travis St. Clair End (just for having a porn name)
The Richard Peck End
and last but not least.... The Benny Doolan End

This list could go on forever, but I thought I would leave it there...

I see I'm in illustrious company. Did you forget good ol' Shawn "Cracka" Lewfatt?

Good idea Crazy
This makes a lot of sense after Fletch retires so that we can celebrate two absolute legends of our club.

As far as I'm aware, the concept of a Lloyd end was to pay homage to one of our stars at a ground where he played so many good games.

This is why Coleman has not been mentioned as he obviously never played there.

Any change would only be for EFC games.

Yeah, I know you own the wing, but, they don't seem to like naming WINGS anymore. Being held in such high regard by your fans and peers, I thought it would be wrong to leave you out.

And yes, old mate Lewfatt was going to be on the list, but I forgot to add him in.

One I did forget is The Rob Forster-Knight End. Purely for having a hyphenated name. I actually went to uni with Rob, top bloke. I was shattered when he got the ar$e from the Bombers..

And one other thing - the Lloyd end should be permanent and not just for Essendon home games. Interchanging names for different teams in just dumb. Name the key features for the staium after players that deserve it, regardless of the team.

Lloyd, more than any other player (to date) has had the most significant history on this ground. It would be fitting to recognise this permanently
