Membership packs

Post by F111 »

efc website
Meanwhile, Essendon would like to advise supporters of a small delay in the mailing of 2010 membership packs (packs were originally planned to be sent during the week of 16th December).

The unexpected delay is due to a number of factors including strikes at Australia Post and an upgrade of the Essendon’s IT systems (which will ultimately improve the accuracy of club information).

Membership packs have started hitting mailboxes and the majority will be received in mid to late January 2010.
...for those itching for their stuff.

Bizzare thing...

My 8 YO daughter (mozzie squad) had both her pack and an overseas parcel (apparently an item accidently left out of the pack) sent to my home before christmas;

My 11 YO son (Mozzie squad and 18 game member) ... nothing as yet
My 15 YO son (Young Guns and 18 game member) ... nothing as yet
Me (11 Home games) ... nothing as yet

Added to this the hassle of auto roll over to Advantage with incorrect details (third year running!!!) which needed a bit of time sorting out (for the third year running). In the two previous years, the kids did not recieve all the stuff in their packs (and one year and EFC worker took it on herself to personally deliver to my home three hastily put together packs to make it in time for chrissy ... though the benefit of this was each child got a poster autographed by the players at Windy Hill on the day)

Please please please ... could EFC membership crew get their act together ... I am seriously considering dropping EFC membership as it doesn't seem worth the hassle.

Cheers - STI

Haven't received mine as yet.

This is the latest for a few years - certainly since they went over to the Advantage system.

Got my boy's and my packs today ... all in the one parcel. Whoops - the older boy was somehow dropped as a "Young Gun" member (though not sure he is that interested in the merchandise ... unless there is an EFC hair straightener and personal product ... OMG!!! - thankfully he is simply keen to go to as many games as possible).

Ah well ... at least they're here!

Got my beyond the boundary membership last week... honestly I don't really care when or even if they get the stuff out - I support the club to do it financially, I actually don't really care too much about the stuff. Tho some of it's fun to have.

Same here. Happy to say I'm a paid up member.

Having said that if I could attend more games I'd be going straight to an AFL Membership. Judging by what I've been told by some people the cost has gone up significantly for EFC match-day memberships.

I wanna see what the new medallions are like.. IMO, I think they ruined them last year. Bring back the shield/triangular logo!

I'm sure some of you can put me out of my misery, what are they like?

By medallions do you mean the little lapel pins that say "2010 member" or whatever? IF so they're black, square and have gone back to the back that you pinch on and off, not the stick pin.

Nah, think the medallions are for social club members.. The only thing they are useful for is getting into certain bars at the MCG. They always have a small/thin rope loop attached to them so you can hang them off your belt loops.

Still Waiting........Not panic stations ..... yet

Rang the club to find out WTF is going on, could'nt get through. Got tired of waiting & listening to a recorded message so after 10mins I left message for club to contact me.

So far no response from membership department.

Seems membership dept. is under the pump big time. Like being 10 goals behind, 5 minutes into the 3rd quarter & 4injured players with no interchange bench?
