Get the potential of more Melkshams/Zakas/Colyers etc into the midfield and you could build a flag around that spine.
Defenders are looking good, lots to do on the forward line though. Hurley has played half a game on the forward line, Gumby about 5.
Long way to go, I just hope Melksham and Coyler don't turn into Dean Polo.

With depth to cover such as Neagle, Still, Laycock, Daniher. Great KPP stocks emerging at Windy Hill

Mid field however still lacks a lot.

I watched the last quarter of the Bendigo game yesterday and liked the looks of Carlisle too.

I reckon he simply hasn't got the attitude to make it as an AFL player. I'd like to say he'd make a very good VFL player, but he hasn't even done a f***'n thing there either.

Anyone know his story yesterday?

Deck chair just behind the goals?

Looks like a pretty good spine to build a team around. Melshkam and Colyer gave us some hope last night that we can build a decent midfield.

Oh, and weren't we just the shittest list on earth last week?

Some people need to make up their minds on where we're at :!:

we beat carlton.

feels good, but its like a fat guy feeling good eating another donut rather than going for a jog. ie as a footy club we're still way out of shape.

will go in as underdogs against the eagles at subi.

In the off chance that 'some people' may include me, I just want to say for the record that I have always rated very highly our prospects re KPP player. Mid-fielders (including our friend Winders, Benny), I dont rate so highly - in fact I reckon we have a very average mid field compared to where it needs to be. Maybe our KPP strength will compensate.

Funny how it is our midfeild that is getting the job done. It is out forward line where we are lacking.

I reckon Hurley also played forward last year against the Doggies and in the final. Could be wrong.

Gumby hasn't been great so far, but he has shown enough to suggest he will be with many more games under his belt.

Dean Polo doesn't count because one of (if not the) his first games was against us.
