Prismall, Howlett, Davey and Neagle should all play blinders today if they are serious about their AFL careers. They must know that 3-4 spots will be up for grabs in the seniors next week

Hopefully some of the Essendon listed players have decided to pull the finger out...
Re: Bendigo vs Port Melb
Neagle did kick a couple from what I hear but it was Still who did well forward.
Bellchambers didn't play and McVeigh was better in the second half. Laycock alright, Davey okay but not much said of Prismal.
oh yeah Silverlock was another mentioned who was said to have played well.
Saw him at Visy Park last week Vs Bullants and it was him and Hurley who were the only shining lights.
he's only a rookie and quite small BUT plenty of guts and determination.

From the thread at Bomberblitz, there was a poster claiming to be Ben Howlett's brother (who seemed to have some credibility) who stated that he had received a phone call from his brother to tell him he had rolled his ankle in the first 10 minutes and was on crutches.
Take that for what it's worth.

He was on the verge of a game last season and then he got injured. Has played well in the 2's from what I've read. You know much about him Murky?Mrs Mercuri wrote:GOALS:

Bloke from Bomberblitz who was at the game and then in the rooms stated that the Essendon listed players that got a special mention from Shagga Grant were McVeigh, Neagle, Davey and the big Lazycock

That sounds good, although I don't give a shit about Neagle anymore and couldn't see Lazycock making the senior team right now.ealesy wrote:Bloke from Bomberblitz who was at the game and then in the rooms stated that the Essendon listed players that got a special mention from Shagga Grant were McVeigh, Neagle, Davey and the big Lazycock
Aaron Francis is the Messiah.
Re: Bendigo vs Port Melb
gah, where was Prismall??! I would really like to see him back in the senior team. He put in 1 soft effort, sure, but has played bloody good football almost every game he has been in since mid season last year. Others seem to have gotten off the hook much more lightly than him!
Re: Bendigo vs Port Melb
Good to see Bendigo have a win, already doing better than all of last season!

Re: Bendigo vs Port Melb
I think he mainly plays across the half back line as a medium sized defender... i always got the impression that he was a bit of a utility... able to play both ends of the ground.BenDoolan wrote:He was on the verge of a game last season and then he got injured. report from the EFC website... no doubt that McVeigh will be back for the Anzac clash.

Cripes, it makes you cringe. "Stars"with the help of Essendon stars Jay Neagle, David Myers and Mark McVeigh.
A couple of snags off half back - McVeigh will certainly play this week. And it's time he woke up from his slumber in the seniors and play to the level he did in 2008.
