What with big bad bustling Barry looking like he'll get suspended that's one thing in our favour for the weekend.
Throw in Tadgh Kennelly and Daniel Bradshaw out for the next fortnight (which includes our game in Sydney next week).
Nice to see injuries happening to other sides! vingertje ***touches wood***

I hope Hall somehow gets off. I love watching him play

He should get off. I'd do more than headlock someone if they did that to me on the footy field... Stupid report...

Me too. I had someone keep elbowing me at indoor footy last week so I hit them and started an all-in brawl.

I agree he reacted the way most of us would, but bollocks to that, if it helps us win, rub him out!

I only saw the Hall incident on the news, but where were his team"mates"???

They didn't seem to come in at all, all I saw was 4 North players around Hall. If they got there, they took their sweet time. Pretty soft if you ask me.

Rough conduct charge downgraded to misconduct which doesn't carry a suspension - $4000 fine.

They've been actually good this year. It seems they have got an element of common sense back there now. Mark Fraser is doing a good job (thus far)...

=D>

He looks good when he is 'running' the show..

This year has been their best work in years. Couple of dodgy ones, but been great overall.

We have had a great run so i shouldn't bitch, but how Dawson got off still mystifies me.

It was late.
It was a forearm to the head
Dawson was not even in the contest.
He was not even making a half hearted effort to hit the ball which was firmly in Stanton's arms when he was hit.
Stanton was obviously distressed by the contact and went to ground

and not even a 50m...........!!!!

Instead of the rules committee trying to report players for "faking for a free", why don't they go after these menaces who instigate fights and melee's?

How is this good news?

Now that Gieschan has instructed the umps to pay frees for backline niggles, I am certain that the Doggies will be gifted 2 goals in their next game... lets see ... who are they playing on Friday?

Hall will be gifted a free before the match when Tayte shakes his hand, and McVeigh will be pinged just for going onto the ground.

Why do these rule "reinterpretations" and umpiring public reassurances (read knee jerk reactions) always seem to bite us?

Cheers - STI
