I'd be interested to see how many of Stantons possessions were effective. He might have had 30, but I reckon a lot of those were pants.

I would not have picked that. Seemed like Stanton had far less effective than the rest.

Maybe just because I noticed it early on and was watching for it?

Stants butchered the ball no more times than watson did.... when your playing essendons run n gun kamikaze style of football, its no wonder it comes unstuck sometimes.

A trait of many Essendon supporters it seems... Myself included.

There was the usual cock ups here and there but I thought his running and setting up the play last night was exceptional...
