Free kick count is 19-9 Sydney's way. I f*cking hate umpires.

The Dempsey "holding the ball" decision was possibly one of the worst decisions in football. Er.. dumb f-cks you actually have to be tackled to be be penalised for holding the ball. He evaded 3 players and had anyone of them laid a tackle yes fair enough but no-one did. So now we are getting a decision by the umpires of what he thought might happen but not what actually did happen.

What hurt more then the shit free kicks was the non calls, specifically lewis roberts thompson taking on a tackler on our 50m line.. and DROPPING the ball with a couple of minutes left. Also there was the Dempsey one prior to the 100 metre penalty where he actually disposed of the football.

While I loved it at the time the worst thing thats happened to us this season is McLaren being dumped for the Slattery decision. Those gutless f****** c**** have had it out for us ever since.

J McVeigh getting a free for high except his teammate was the one that hit him high, shit boys go down and just start whacking Gumby in the goal square.
Holding the ball against I think Prismall when he was the one that laid the tackle and the Sydney bloke is spread eagled over the ball and Prismall is holding on to him not the ball.
The Sydney bloke running out of bounds
Dempsey being pinged despite not actually having anyone tackling him at the time, then a 50 which was there but wasn't paid for us earlier. Then to cap it off Dempsey says, "You're kidding me? I handballed it!" so that apparently equals another 50, I'm starting to remember Fletchers "demonstrative posture" one all over again. Then FINALLY somehow a 100 metre penalty takes the bloke from deep inside our 50 to deep inside theirs. f*** me I know the SCG is small but its not that f****** small. Maybe if the little f****** cocksucker hadn't been so busy bleating to nobody in particular about why he did it he could've measured it out properly.

what are peoples thoughts on the Hurley/Bolton decision? Another crucial one right in the middle of the ground. Seemed the umpires were hungry just to pay another free, Might sound ridiculous coming from an Essendon supporter but i believe it was a play on call... both players had there head over it and Hurley was at the contest first..

Mark Johnson's "weak dog" 50 was topped today, and then some.

Today was the first time I have ever thought that something shifty must be going on.

Hurley had his hands on the ball, head over the ball, Bolton runs in and makes contact and.......... Bolton free kick. What a shock.

The Howlett holding the ball on the outer wing was also ridiculous. He was tripped over and then both he and the Sydney player had the ball. Another holding the ball that went against us was the Melshkam one where he never even had possession of the ball.

Alot of push in the backs were also missed.

This tripping thing...unbelievable.
Friday night and last nights games both had trips by hand no more or less supposedly deliberate than Fletchers.
Yet they were not even free kicks, let alone reports...
Jesus it's frustrating.

I was there...the umpiring was atrocious...the biggest one I recall was the ball was kicked over the line on the full near the Swans goals in the 3rd quarter and the three umpires were not in a position to tell if it was a point or a goal, so then decided to throw it in giving the swans an opportunity to regain possession. Every Essendon supporter saw it though.

All the 50-50 decisions, I cant remember one going our way...everything was against us...injuries...conditions and umpires. Being there next to those f*ck wit "no idea" arty farty swans supporters it made you feel the AFL and the umpires were doing a little bit of creative marketing by helping the swans get over the line and boosting the AFL morale in Sydney.

What a bleed.

What can you expect from the 3 M's (McL , McB & now Meredith) AKA as the the 3 stooges. Worst decision for a long time. What was Meredith thinking , the c%#t. Perhaps he was trying to "outdumb" McLaren in decision making. But what can you expect when is in the same dressing room as the other 2 cocksuckers.

Would be interesting watching these 3 f#@kers in the showers comparing their game to see who could come up with the most dumb decisions. If this decision happened in Melbourne the prick would'nt have got off the ground alive. I can recall in the old Windy Hill days when the maggots often had to get police escorts to the cars after they showered when they gave dodgy decisions against the Bombers, which was usually every game, the pricks.

The worst thing was what wouldn't have been shown on TV. On several occasions inside 50 the end I was sitting there were incidents that McLaren was watching the he let go.

- 1st quarter Hille went to lead and LRT got his arm around Hilles neck. No free.

- 3rd quarter, Welsh was pushed in the back and hit in the back of the head with a forearm whilst McLaren looked on.

- 4th quarter, Goodes and Hocking holding each other then as he went to lead completely pushed Hocking over again as McLaren looked on.

And don't get me started on holding the ball.

I heard this morning McLaren paid 14 free kicks to the Swans and 2 to Essendon.

If this is true...what more needs to be said about banning from our games. :|

I saw a couple of those and in fairness I don't believe Mclaren could have seen them. We gave away too many free kicks pure and simple.
and that really contributed to us losing the game.

you can argue til your blue in the face whether or not they were all justified or not, but I can not honestly say I saw them miss a lot of frees for the dons.

Also we got done in the middle and the swans had 27 scoring shots to 20.
