Positives

Post by s'dreams »

Given the crap ... there were some positives

1. Hurley - best game this year. Clearly relieved after the court case (Did he really throw the driver into the rubbish skip???)
2. Davey - for the first half ... back to his very best!
3. Bellchambers - floated in and out - but did show something in the ruck and suprisingly at ground level.

Myers, Gumby and Jetta also showed something (though didn't show on the stats).

Cheers - STI

Ryder had a few great taps to advantage... would have had a few more if we had the players to be in the right spot

These threads always remind me of StKilda in the late 70's. "At least Barker was great".

I was very impressed with the way Myers tackled last night... yes he didint have a great night stats wise but his endeavor was great!

TB also showed a lot and im hoping that he gets another chance to shine against the Hawks next week!

I agree TBell and Hurley were definitely positives, as was Alwyn early on.

In fact, to be honest, I'm a bit surprised at all the gloom and doom on here. Yes, we did make a lot of errors (Stanton & Watson were at their absolute clanger best and Slattery, Dyson, Welsh are probably selection errors), BUT overall I don't actually think we were that bad. They were just TOO GOOD.
