Essendon v Hawthorn Match Thread

Post by paddyl90 »

PUMPED!! PUMPED!! PUMPED!! It's the same feeling I have with Carlton. I feel like no matter what we will somehow find a way to beat them. Only way Hawks will win is if Buddy kicks a bag. With 3 defenders - Hooker, Pears & Fletcher we can control Roughead. We have our own 2 Rioli's who are in hot form at the moment so expect them to be on tonight too. I have a strong feeling that Michael Hurley will go off tonight! A re-enactment of Round 22 style of last year. He looked good last week in the first half and with his court case behind him, he seems adament to repay the club in a big way :)

For all those going, ENJOY get stuck into some Dawks and we should walk away with the points. GO BOMBERS!!

I only hope J Hird reminded the group of how we traditionally get fired up for this game against them tonight. I hope he has the likes of NLM, Lonergan, and Hocking fired right up to line a few Hawks up.

I am sure Hirdy would have reminded them but frankly, most of this group dont need Hirdy to get them going, they just have to think back to Rnd 22 last year

I hate these pricks more then any other side. Always been a bunch of wanna-be tough guys who sniped off the ball. Some of their champions wouldn't get on the field these days. Bleed red and black tonight and put these c**** back in their box.

f****** fire up Bombers. f****** fire up.

I am sorry but despite the fact that we are not playing so well - the umpiring is killing us! That last free kicki to Mustin - f****** ridiculous. Conservatively they have 3 goals as a direct result of "iffy" free kicks

We were definitlely on top towards the end of the 2nd qtr and I feel we will finish the stronger team in this one - provided we get a fair break from the maggots

1st Half we had more handballs than kicks. This needs to change if we are to win

There is always a maggot wanting to be a bigger star than the players.
