Challenge now.

Then we must seek a coach who has an idea about structures and selections.

I fear that O'Donnell is more of a Costello. I dont think he really wants it, or doesnt have the balls to go and get it.

I agree... if G'OD wanted the top job surely he would have got it by now...

Probably right. Did he ever put in for the senior job?

No...O'Donnell would be crazy to put himself up now. Leave Knights as the Caretaker coach.

You are a f****** disgrace Knights.

Dye his hair red, stick a carrot up his arse and do a deal with the richest industry in the land and then he might just be a shoe in as our next great leader.

(where is Filthy when you need him? Keri? Anybody?)

O'Donnell seems to be just as much a dud as Knights and the rest of his team. Lethal and the fab four made him look good at Brisbane.

GOD's obsession with Slatts is enough for me to say pass on him.

We need a change though cos Knighta has no plan B. He doesnt even know how to pick the best 22 yet. Still picking favourites week in and week out.

piss off knighta back to richmond.

I'm becoming more and more convinced that he has no Plan A.

This is ruining all the assistant coaches reputations as well. Richardson must be wondering WTF he's got himself into.

Lucky we didn't get Hardwick because he thought our list three years ago was crap.

To me he seems to be a coach that expects and gets alot from mediocre players.

Supposedly when he was an assistant at Collingwood, he was nearly popping guys in the head on the line he was coaching for not putting in. The rest of the coaching staff had to cool him down.

This is a guy I want on my team.

He coached for peanuts at North and got them further than any other coach in the game would have....I think due to drive and being mighty tough.

I don't remember too much from North in his tenure in the way of players mucking up during the season. OK the Carey saga was quite new and the club didn't want any more controversy...........but I think that he had some great respect that meant he was the coach, not a mate and he'd play you based on your form and commitment.

O'Donnell was never interested and I think it would be a shame for him to step in, when he never wanted the position in the first place.

Wonder how that team turned out that was picked by the fans before the Hawthorn game. I don't think it was ever put up on the EFC website, must have been very different to the team that was eventually picked!
