What happens...

Talk about everything Essendon. Past, Present and Future if it's about the Bombers this is the place to be.

What happens...

Post by nomolos »

If we come out and beat Melbourne with a strong effort?

Is all this shit that has been spouted this week going to be forgotten only to resurface at our next loss....are you all that fickle?

No.

Any more questions?

Yes most definetly. i am super fickle.

There will be significant changes this week. Those guys coming in will play well and Essendon will win comfortably.

we should but i am a little worried; we dont usually perform that well in games we are expected to do well in. I think most of us on here just want to see the boys come out and really try and perform at their best and show the EFC fighting spirit that disappeared horribly last week.

The Dees have more to play for this week than we do.

Jaymar has been dominating this year.

Not expecting us to win.

Even if we do - anything less than an 70 point drubbing against last year's wooden spooners will not stop the questions.

No.

In my mind coming out and playing well only makes last week worse.

Losing only makes me more depressed.

Lose/lose mentally.....win and be angry, lose and be depressed.
Felt the same after ANZAC Day, but even more so this time.

On a hiding to nothing. if we win and win well, questions will be aksed why we couldn't do it for matches that really countd. If we lose, there will be more sh#t heaped on us from a great height.

Worse scenario would be to just fall in by a couple of points.
Too far for Baker now he's on to it, now he’s got it, OPEN GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Dons are in front by one point at the 8 minute mark

Worse scenario would be to be leading by 5 goals later in the third qtr only to be run down by a spirited demons effort. Thats when Ima reaching for the Michael Jackson cocktail

Or lose by a couple - which I suspect will happen.

Until we start playing consistently and are able to win interstate, then we will never gain respect. We can win this weekend by 100 points but it will mean very little.

We get 4 points for starters Nom.

If this season is to be RESCUED and from possible DISASTER I fear, got to win this one,the next against WEST COAST at Home(Lose that and it's DEFINITE Season OVER)and then BOGEY Team NORTH,which to me is WINNABLE.

KNIGHTS had better get them WHIPS Cracking,if he doesn't want his 1st Coaching Job to SLIDE into OBLIVION and ULTIMATE MEDIOCRITY.I hear the sound of an AXE Being SHARPENED.Or was that a GUILLOTINE?

Regardless of what happens this week it's very difficult to forgive for such a horrible performance last week.

IF we come out and win with a strong performance I will be glad for the win but Disappointed all the same because they CAN do it.... but still obviously lack the mental strength to switch on and give their all EVERY time they run out onto the ground

But another performance like last weekend WON'T be tolerated...Period

the season can't be rescued. Essendon will not be playing in September. What can happen though is that we start playing some good football and therefore go into 2011 with some confidence.
