It was actually 3 in a week. Some people made mention of the fact that one of Australia's great authors also died.

Colin Thiele died as well.

The week previous Don Chipp dies, as well as radio personality Ross Warneke (think that is how it is spelt). I listen to 3aw a bit so used to hear him often.

There was actually a fourth significant figure who passed away last week (or is it 5?)

Older people would know of Melbourne radio DJ Don Lunn (or known as Don Funn by those who grew up in the 60's and 70's). Passed away aged 72 last week.
