Cannot agree with Yardbirds. They had several hits including:

They were my fav one hit wonders. One song that I thought was absolutely brilliant was from The War of The Worlds soundtrack - Forever Autumn by Justin Hayward.

I listened to the first disc last night just so that I could hear that particular song and it is pretty damn good.

Of course Justin Hayward was a member of The Moody Blues so he was hardly a one hit wonder.

Harsh call Ben...I'm not sure that he went solo...it was more that he was asked to do that song because of his status. The Moody Blues were still recording after The War of the Worlds was released.

Just being technical The song is attributed to Justin Hayward and not Moody Blues.
