EU cup in Germany

Post by serkan »

There's going to be an "AFL cup" held in Stuttgart, Germany somewhere between August and October 2007 and I was wondering if anyone was going to be there around that time next year because I've managed to nearly get a Turkey team together, but the thing is the rules require us to have at least 1 player who has played the game at a club in Australia, now if anyone can help us out it would be greatly appreciated, I'm willing to pay money to anyone who wants to play.

all i can suggest serkan is that you try and send as many emails as you can to melbourne/sydney clubs. i think you could find at least one because the clubs in metropolitan areas will have a bit of a culture mix.. thats my only suggestion.
Should find clubs emails on the net somwhere.

good luck with it

Boncer, If you decide to play, I'll provide you with all the equipment that you need, and pay you a good sum of money, but we can discuss that later

You'll will need to provide him with a coach to teach him how to play first.

I can research the correct techniques on how to kick, handball, tackle etc etc and teach it to the team and maybe show some set plays, but I can't coach on the day which is another problem I'll have to look at over the winter break

hi all, I'm happy to report that we've got a 21 man team and we're heading to Stuttgart full of confidence. I've finished my military training so I can concentrate on football. I also want to know what the Irish play, it's sort of like AFL but it has soccer attributes, I just want to know what is called

Gaelic Football.

Back of net= 6 points
Over net between the two large goal posts an over=3 points
A point is like an AFL point.

Thats the hybrid form of the game, not Gaelic football.

Just a question here

Im trying to figure out where the best position for a captain is. I mean, If I place myself at full forward (where i like it the most) I cant see most of the play happening clearly, but If i put myself at a centre half forward position, I see the play most of the time but there are better players then me on my team that could fill that role and I would get killed by a bigger player. I can also play in the middle but there are people better then me that fill that role as well. I have tried playing the back line and that has worked but I've also heard that its not the best place for a captain either.

Probably try and position yourself in a flat above an adult book store in Footscray.
