Angus Lifts the lid

Post by Jazz_84 » Tue May 15, 2012 5:36 pm

this is the entire HS article today.... haha WTF
ESSENDON forward Angus Monfries may have earned a reputation for being a bit of a weirdo.

Monfries tried, not very successfully, to dispel some supposed myths about himself during an appearance on Channel 9's Sunday Footy Show.

He said he had not gone into a Rebel Sport store before he got drafted and tried on every club guernsey to gauge which one best suited him - only some of them.

He said his mother had not served him fruit salad in the bath the night before his first game, but his teammate at the time, Andrew Welsh, had.

And he does not collect all the tape he wears for each game and store it away after writing his match stats on it. He just stores the tape in a shoe box.

If this is newsworthy... the HS need to learn to report. No wait. We already knew that.

FWIW Andrew Welsh is welcome to serve me fruit salad in the tub any day.

Taken word for word from the Sunday Footy Show. I usually watch it every week, maybe I can have a crack at being a journalist

Self deprecation can be the highest form of humour, widosm and maturity.

Oh, wait, who we talkin' about?
